Dr. Anthony Wilson

RESEARCH AND EDUCATION
Dr Wilson is actively involved in providing education for local medical students, local allied health professionals and general practitioners. Dr Wilson is the nominated Orthopaedic Surgeon on the St Andrew's Hospital Toowoomba Medical Advisory Committee. He is also an active participant in the Orthopaedic Multidisciplinary Committee within the Toowoomba Region.

ROBOTIC SURGERY
Dr Wilson was the first Orthopaedic Surgeon in Toowoomba to perform Uni Compartment/Total Knee Arthroplasty Robotic Surgery in 2017. Dr Wilson currently does robotic surgery in special situations if he believes it is appropriate. More commonly he uses computer navigation and mechanical manual navigation to insert joint replacements involving hip, knee and ankle.
